2024 Wrapped – My Year in Business

Wow this year was a bit of a rollercoaster. I started the year excited to have my kids in daycare a few days a week and ready to invest (money & time) into my main signature course to make it more profitable…

After devoting 200+ hours to that I had some of my lowest months (income-wise) ever because I wasn’t focussing on my services. So in 2025 I will be more strategic about my goals and make sure to have a more well-rounded business.

I really doubted myself in 2024 and wondered if all the time I poured into creating a course that teaches new entrepreneurs how to DIY a website was what people *actually* wanted, but after live launching it and making some sales, I got my confidence back. That’s just the journey/ rollercoaster of running an online business, am I right?

The hard numbers for my online business

βœ“ 6 Website in a Days (see them HERE)

βœ“ Grew my email list from 999 to 1509 (over a 50% increase!)

βœ“ 3 Website in a Weeks

βœ“ 4 members joined my course, Beyond The Template (3 in live launch & 1 on evergreen)

βœ“ 2 Live Launches/ Masterclasses (for BTT and the Black Friday Kit I did with Dolly DeLong & Mara Kucerik)

βœ“ 3 Bundle Contributions (The Systems & Workflow Magic Bundle: the SEO Edition, Launch Edition & 6-Figs in β€˜25 bundle)

βœ“ 44 New Students to my Squarespace SEO Course (34 total have gone through + 59 have gone through the modified version that was in a Bundle)

βœ“ 59 Blog Posts

βœ“ Hit my “Before Tax Better Profit Goal” making over $45,000 (very proud of this since I only work 15-20 hours a week – I have SEO to thank for a LOT of this)

βœ“ 37 full YouTube Videos/ Tutorials (the rest were shorts)

βœ“ 1,240 Miles Ran (okay not business related, but I am proud of myself for getting back into it a year postpartum with 2 now-toddlers)

Other Major Milestones:

βœ“ Eliza started preschool 2 days a week

βœ“ Restructured my course Squarespace With Confidence so that people could accomplish it faster & have a template to go alongside them (now Beyond The Template)

βœ“ Read 25 Books (my favorite was probably The Women. Or Fourth Wing. Or Paris: The Memoir. or The Stillwater Girls.)

βœ“ I started to really step into WHO I AM in my business and not just trying to be like the experts. In a recent survey to my email list, these words were used more than once to describe my brand: helpful, real, authentic, fun, creative, and kind. And I feel like those are all authentically me (whether I like it or not – like sometimes I wish I had more chill, but it is what it is).

βœ“ Taking December off social media and going to Kauai (without kids!!)

I hope sharing all this doesn’t spark comparison, but rather encourages you to celebrate all you accomplished this year whether it was staying at home and raising kids or running a 6 figure online business.

I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.

I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality. Some words people use to describe me are: helpful, real, fun, creative, authentic, and kind.

Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego (I was a fan LONG before the movie-adaptation, anyone else?!) as I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.

Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.

I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally...)

I find so much joy in helping and serving others and I give myself fully to whatever it is that engages me, whether that is running a 50k or creating a website in a day.
