The Number 1 Question Asked When Designing Websites

Okay, maybe it isn’t the #1 question, but it is usually up there:

What email marketing platform do you use and how do I add a pop up to my website?

If you know you need to add email marketing to your biz, but are overwhelmed with the idea of adding/ learning ANOTHER platform – this blog is for you.

If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you know I’m a big fan of Flodesk. If you haven’t heard of this email service provider, it is beautiful on the backend and SO EASY to design emails.

Before I signed up for Flodesk, I rarely sent out newsletters (because Mailchimp is THE WORST) and wasn’t leveraging email marketing to its full potential in my business. I struggled to find a tool that was easy to use, with customizable designs that helped me stay true to my brand. Once I decided to move to Flodesk, the difference it made for my business was huge.

Since signing in 2019, I’ve sent countless emails and have grown my list from 200 to 1200 subscribers (that’s over 500%.) It’s become a vital tool for me to market my business and make money.

Why i love it

  1. It’s really intuitive and easy to use. They have tons of beautiful templates that give me a starting point and ensure my emails look great on all devices. I can load my brand elements, like my logo, colors, and fonts, so that each email looks consistent and on-brand.
  2. It’s so easy to create subscriber segments through Flodesk’s opt-in forms and Form Preferences feature, which helps me organize my list and send my subscribers hyper-personalized content based on their interests.
  3. Great (and easy to consume) analytics tools which helps me know how subscribers are interacting with the emails.
  4. I can have unlimited emails and subscribers at a flat rate forever

If you want to check it out you can head to THIS LINK and grab my referral link, which gives you 50% off your first year. Flodesk has definitely been one of the tools that has had the biggest impact on my marketing, and I can’t wait for you to check it out.

my only complaint

After using it almost weekly for 5 years, I only have one issue with the platform – you can’t have people “opt-out” of your emails for a week. This would be super helpful for launch weeks. However, I have found a work-around (it is just a bit annoying and hefty to accomplish).

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN Filter Flodesk Audience Via An Email

adding a pop-up

Maybe this is controversial, but it is 2024. We don’t want pop-ups anymore. They’re annoying. Just create a really beautiful, stand out section on your home page and then add an inline form (from Flodesk) to collect emails.

Main reason I chose Flodesk? I kinda enjoy designing emails on this platform which makes it so beyond worth it! Lock in 50% off your first year through my link.
