I love Squarespace because you can make a beautiful site without code, but these are the 3 codes I use ALL THE TIME to up-level and personalize my client’s websites.

Head over to the custom CSS section of your Squarespace dashboard and then upload your font and add this code!
@font-face {
font-family: NEWYORK;
src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/60661e17806161468599c5b5/t/613f9f1a9bfa067869e54a0d/1631559451265/NewYork.otf);
}
h3 {font-family: 'NEWYORK';}

Add code block with this <div class=”vl”></div>
Go to Custom CSS and add this code:
vl { background: #000000; width: 1px; height: 200px; margin: 0 auto; }

Find the block code using the “Squarespace Collection/ Block Identifier” plugin for Chrome and then add that bit of code with margin-top after it and if you want it further up increase from 30% to 90% for example!
#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1618979555098_10962 {margin-top:-30%}

Hey, I'm Bekah! Web designer, Squarespace Circle Gold Partner, marathon runner, and mama of two. I built Rebekah Read Creative in 2018 after leaving corporate America, and I've spent the years since helping purpose-driven entrepreneurs stop cringing at their websites and start getting found on Google.
I'm the kind of person who overshares, processes out loud, and goes all in on whatever has my heart, whether that's running a 50k or building someone's website in a single day. Quality coffee and real conversations are basically my love language.
