Then Showit is the way to go. Although Squarespace has come SO FAR in terms of being able to drag and drop elements exactly where you want them, it still isn’t as flexible as Showit. Just be prepared to remake everything on mobile that you just designed on desktop (aka it will take more time).

Search engine optimization

Either platform works great for SEO as long as you are optimizing the backend for it.

Both Squarespace and Showit offer options to optimize your website for search engines. Squarespace SEO and Showit SEO are both important considerations for improving your website’s visibility and ranking on search engine results pages. While Squarespace offers built-in SEO features and plugins, Showit provides flexibility and control over your SEO settings. ✓If you need great customer service, Showit takes the cake IMO.

✓ You know Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

✓ You have a WordPress website with blogs and don’t want to loose your SEO.

✓ You want complete creative freedom over designing the mobile.

Squarespace is a better option for you if…

✓ You just want to start with a great template and use easy tools to design your website.

✓ Everything is integrated you don’t need extra plugins (you can have a shop with your digital downloads, email list, blog, etc. all in Squarespace).

✓ You like to dig through forums for lots of answers to your question.

✓ You want a super easy backend to navigate.

✓ You plan to blog a lot and want it to be very similar to design like your website.
