Has this been stressful? Honestly, not really. I know the Lord will provide for my family. It has been annoying more than anything, but it has allowed me to enjoy my yearly, month-long cabin trip even more!
Tips for taking a long vacation and working
Don’t.
Just kidding. Well kind of.
When I do the lake cabin trip home each summer, I choose to work part time because I have childcare.
Here’s some ideas to make it not so bad that you have to work on vacay:
1. Find yourself a great working spot by some water or a pretty view, it makes it easier
2. Prioritize only doing the “musts” in your business, the content creation and growth things can be left for when you get back
3. Plan a work date with a friend at a cute coffee shop
4. Delegate work to others if you can
5. If you’re with family, talk to them about how much you’re going to work that day so they don’t think it’s all you do
