It may be tempting to hire a copywriter right when you begin to create bomb copy for your website full of keywords that help people find you. However, I wouldn’t suggest that. These 3 tips will help you discover when it is a good time to invest in a copywriter as an entrepreneur:
If you are just starting out, you probably don’t have the funds for a copywriter. And if you do have the funds, you probably have better things you could be spending it on like a good logo, website, business coach, etc.
You may think you know what your business is going to be, but a lot can change in a year. Wait to hire a copywriter until you are further along and have more clarity on your ideal client, what you want to do the majority of the time, and maybe even keywords (although they will help you with this).
If you are preparing to launch a brand new website and your business has been around for a while, it may be a good time to invest in a really good copywriter to help you draw your audience in and RETAIN THEM on the website.

I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.
I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality. Some words people use to describe me are: helpful, real, fun, creative, authentic, and kind.
Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego as I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.
Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.
I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally, anyone else?!)
