Are you wondering how to deliver a paid service/ course/ class/ call on Squarespace? READ ON!
The more I dug into the weeds of this, the more I realized that there isn’t one “right” way. If you want a more intense option, I would use Squarespace Scheduling. This is great if you are a yoga business (for example) and have multiple online classes that you want to people to sign up for and then deliver (more about that on the bottom of this post).
In this video I will show you how to set up a service “product” and then when someone purchases it in the store, how to send them an automation in email marketing.
Something to note – email marketing with automations in Squarespace is an ADDITIONAL $10/ month.
→ You can’t. They will automatically be tagged as a purchaser/ customer, but you can’t get more specific.
One workaround is to add a custom tag by clicking their information in that panel and entering a tag there. Here’s some details on the PROFILES PANEL of Squarespace

You may decide Squarespace scheduling is a better option for your business. Go for it! Please note – at the time of writing this, Scheduling is an additional $16/ month.
If you decide you want to go that route, here is a rough outline of the process:

I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.
I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality. Some words people use to describe me are: helpful, real, fun, creative, authentic, and kind.
Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego as I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.
Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.
I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally, anyone else?!)
