I’ve heard a lot of comments lately about Squarespace or Showit being bad for SEO
(If you’re on Squarespace, check out this video instead)
Showit is a popular website builder for photographers, coaches, web designers, and so many other creative entrepreneurs, but is it worth your time if it sucks for SEO? Read on (or watch the video)…
In short, no, it doesn’t suck for search engine optimization. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter AT ALL what platform you are using, it matters how you set it up on the backend and if you are being consistent with updating it (ahem, blogging).
This platform offer a streamlined and straightforward approach to website creation, making it easier than ever for small business owners like you to establish an online presence.
Showit is so ridiculously flexible WITHOUT code! Just be prepared to remake everything on mobile that you just designed on desktop (aka it will take more time).
While Squarespace offers built-in SEO features and plugins, Showit provides flexibility and control over your SEO settings. If you’re looking for a more hands-on SEO approach, Showit is a great choice.
If you choose Showit, I 100% recommend THIS COURSE. (Use code BEKAH for $99.40 off the course)
I will say, if you are an entrepreneur and trying to choose the *right* platform with the best SEO, I have some news for you – either will work and both will serve you well. Just go for it. The sooner you get your website into the World, the sooner it can start ranking on Google and getting you clients.
