Are you looking for the perfect date night in Spokane around your home? Here are my top choices!
Del Leon’s Taco and Bar – I came to Spokane DESPERATE to find good Mexican food, and this is the one! They have traditional Mexican tacos with their special taco sauce and different meat choices for $2.50 a taco and all I have to say is YES. Also the huckleberry mojito is a MUST.
Taste of Thai – Right after Mexican food, my next must find was Thai food and this is my favorite (although I must say, my husband disagrees with me and says his favorite is Mangrove Cafe in the Valley)! From the outside you would not expect this place to be as amazing as it is, but let me tell you, it is worth the trip to the North side! The food is flavorful, the service is great, and the prices are not too bad. (Note, this is closed Sunday).
Clinkerdaggers – If you are ready for THE BEST FOOD IN SPOKANE, this is your place (just get ready for a hefty check). Not only is the food amazing, but if you are looking for a spot to enjoy the beauty that is Spokane. Enjoy happy hour on the patio- you won’t regret it! Like I said, it is a little expensive, so go their for an anniversary dinner overlooking the Spokane river.
Steam plant – this is my husband’s favorite restaurant. The food is great, but I think it is a little overpriced, but you also pay for the cool experience of eating in an old steam plant. If you have guests from out of town, this is the place to take them in Spokane!
Italia trattoria – As much as I love Old Spaghetti Factory for their great prices and large portions, I would have to say Italia Trattoria is the best Italian in Spokane. Their noodles are homemade, it is in a great location (Brownes Addition) and it feels authentic.
The Elk – The Elk is right across the street from Italia Trattoria and is a great place if you are looking for a quick eat, fun vibe, lower prices, and a place to sit outside.
Gordy’s Sichuan Cafe – Gordy’s has debatably the best Chinese food in Spokane. Honestly, I have yet to try it but since I have heard so many people rave about it, I thought it was worth adding. If you go, let me know your thoughts!
Twigs Bistro – Twigs is also in the Mall downtown, but I much prefer this location. You can sit outside by the manmade lake and enjoy their amazing gorgonzola fries and drinks before a hearty meal. That is a win for me!
I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.
I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality.
Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego as I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.
Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.
I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally, anyone else?!)
