If you’re searching for a Squarespace website designer or a Showit website in a week, you may have come across options like “Website in a Day” and “Website in a Week.” But how do you decide which is best for your business? More importantly, which option will help you rank on Google and attract clients effortlessly?
As a professional website designer specializing in Squarespace and Showit, I offer both Website in a Day and Website in a Week services to help entrepreneurs launch high-converting, SEO-friendly websites—without the months-long wait. Let’s break down the differences so you can choose the right fit!
A Website in a Day is a streamlined, semi-custom website designed in one intensive day. This option is perfect for entrepreneurs who need a professional, strategic website—fast!
💡 Best for: Service-based entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners who need a polished website quickly without sacrificing strategy. You need to be able to make decisions quickly and move on looking at the greater picture rather than tiny details.
A Website in a Week offers a more in-depth, strategic approach to building your online presence. This option allows for more customization, advanced SEO, and additional features like blogging, email marketing integration, and more.
💡 Best for: Business owners who want a fully customized website with long-term SEO strategies to help them rank on Google. If you are someone who needs a bit more direction, this is a better service for you.
❓ What does advanced SEO mean? Great question, so advanced SEO means I can do more research for the BEST keyword phrases. I may stumble upon the best phrase(s) for website in a day, but I can’t do a lot of comparing and contrasting.
After I find those phrases for website in a day I add them to the back end (each page has SEO settings) and if I think of it, I’ll add it to the copy as well. Then I will change some photos (usually 3-10). With website in a week I have more time to do full SEO research, add it to each page settings, figure out proper Headings (H1), add keyword phrases to the copy, change 20-30 photos to be optimized for SEO, etc.
With both day and week I will set up a blog page and then guide you on what keywords to put where so you can continually tell search engines “hey I am active and know what I’m talking about, move me up in rankings”.
Both Website in a Day and Showit Website in a Week are designed to be SEO-friendly, but if you want to maximize your chances of ranking on Google, a Website in a Week is the stronger choice. Here’s why:
✅ Website in a Day provides essential SEO, including metadata, mobile optimization, and site structure. ✅ Website in a Week goes deeper with keyword research, content strategy, and blogging setup, all of which help improve long-term rankings.
If you’re serious about SEO and organic traffic, the extra time invested in a Website in a Week will give you a stronger foundation for ranking on Google.

I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.
I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality. Some words people use to describe me are: helpful, real, fun, creative, authentic, and kind.
Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego (I was a fan LONG before the movie-adaptation - anyone else?!). I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.
Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.
I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally...)
