If you’ve ever tried to write your own website copy or DIY your own site while also juggling client work… you know how easy it is to hit a wall. That’s exactly where Tara was when she reached out for a Website in a Day project.
Tara is the founder of Marketing Maven TS, a full-service marketing company that helps small to mid-sized businesses and destination properties grow through creative content, thoughtful strategy, and a hands-on, get-it-done approach. Think: social media, PR, partnerships, videography, Google Ads, and everything in between—custom-built for businesses who are tired of doing it all themselves.
Tara had no shortage of ideas—but like so many entrepreneurs, she needed help pulling them together into a site that made sense to her audience. Her biggest goals?
She already had a strong brand and a ton of passion—she just needed a site that reflected it. One that felt clear, elevated, and full of energy… without adding fluff or trendy filler.
Tara came prepared with golden nuggets inside her brand questionnaire, but like many high-capacity business owners, she was too in her own head to see the full picture.
During our prep process, we pulled those threads together to create:
The copy and structure were designed to reflect her voice: equal parts strategist and working friend, so when her ideal client lands on the site, they feel seen and ready to book.
Visually, the site is clean, modern, and confident. We chose:
It’s not frilly or overly trendy, and that’s the point. Tara’s audience isn’t looking for aesthetic fluff. They’re looking for a partner who can roll up their sleeves, think like a business owner, and get results.
Tara’s clients are small business owners and family-run brands, many of them in trades, tourism, or service-based industries. They’ve likely tried marketing themselves (and are over it). They don’t need another “guru.” They need someone who can sit at the table with them, understand their goals, and take marketing off their plate.
This site gives them a reason to trust her and an easy path to get started.
“AH, Bekah! I love the website, thank you! You are truly magical. I handed over my messy thoughts and half-formed ideas through your branding questionnaire, and somehow, you turned it into everything I had hoped my website would be (and more).
Your prep process made it so easy, I always knew what you needed from me, and you were so available and encouraging every step of the way. Even with my light experience in building websites, I couldn’t get out of my head or get it done for myself… but you made it feel so doable.
You worked so stinking fast, and my heart was just so happy watching it all come together! The training you included at the end was the cherry on top. Now I feel confident updating my site and continuing to grow.
Most of all, I feel a weight lifted, clarity in my business, and a new sense of confidence in the value I bring to my clients. I seriously just love it. Thank you so much!”

I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.
I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality. Some words people use to describe me are: helpful, real, fun, creative, authentic, and kind.
Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego (I was a fan LONG before the movie-adaptation - anyone else?!). I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.
Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.
I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally...)
