Are you starting on your Showit or Squarespace website and simply not sure where to start? Here are some things to collect (or if a designer is working on it, they will probably ask for these things).
I have a freebie of a checklist of what to do before you hire a website designer!
DOMAIN NAME CREDENTIALS
First, you’ll need a Domain Name — a URL or Web Address. You may use your existing Domain Name or create a new Domain Name. Don’t know what Domain Name Provider to use? I have a blog for that!
BLOG CREDENTIALS
Are you moving to a new platform, like going from WordPress to Showit? You probably want some help migrating all those posts (and Showit will do it for you, WAHOOOO!) Make sure to write down your Blog Login URL, username, and password.
SHOWIT or SQUARESPACE CREDENTIALS
Purchase your plan with Squarespace or Showit and make sure you write down those credentials for later use!
Want more to-dos? Get that freebie of a checklist of what to do before you hire a website designer! This will help you lessen the overwhelm of hiring a designer (or simply prepare you for everything YOU need to do).
I’ve got messy hair and a thirsty heart.
I overshare my life, and have an ultra-expressive personality. Some words people use to describe me are: helpful, real, fun, creative, authentic, and kind.
Elphaba from Wicked is kind of my alter-ego as I am always trying to forge my own path and make a difference in the World, somehow, someway, while also constantly criticizing myself and trying to become the better version of me.
Quality conversations + coffee come easy to me.
I’ve never had an issue connecting naturally with others (probs because I can go on and on about my life story, not that it is interesting, I just process externally, anyone else?!)
